We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and content you create (gift messages, story selections, uploaded songs). We also collect usage data such as pages visited and features used.
We use your information to generate your films, deliver gifts to recipients, process payments securely via Stripe, send transactional emails about your films, and improve our service.
Films are generated using third-party AI services including OpenAI (image generation) and Replicate (video generation). Your story inputs and uploaded songs may be processed by these services to create your film. We do not use your content to train AI models.
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. We retain records of transactions (amount, date, film ID) for accounting purposes.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to deliver the product (Stripe for payments, OpenAI/Replicate for generation, Supabase for storage, Resend for email).
Your account data is retained while your account is active. Generated films are stored for 12 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@unbound.film.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
